What is Ares?

Ares is a collection of acoustic simulation and measurement tools mostly focused on small consumer electronic design applications such as cell phones, tablets, smart speakers, etc.   The different major features of Ares are grouped into “modules”.  A module is almost a separate program, but rather than making 5 or 6 separate programs to do different things, all of these programs are put into the single Ares interface.  The advantage of this is you get one standardized interface that you must familiarize yourself with, and when you save your work to a *.ares file, all of your design work is saved to one file, so you have fewer files to keep track of.
