About Us

ARES was founded by Dr. Jason McIntosh.  Dr. McIntosh has 20 years of experience working in the area of acoustics designing active noise control systems, telephony and communications systems, ultrasonic tracking systems for medical applications and implementing real time DSP algorithms.

He received his Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Minnesota’s Institute of Technology where he studied electrical engineering and engineering acoustics.
